Leo is a lecturer (assistant professor) of finance at the University of Technology, Sydney. My main research interests are innovation, entrepreneurship and organization studies. I am interested in measuring innovation and studying how innovation affects firm value, economic growth and productivity. I am also interested in how CEO management style, characteristics and skills lead to different firm policies and outcomes. In addition, I apply advanced statistical and machine learning techniques in applied finance, economics and management studies.

July: My advanced manufacturing paper got into AEA (American Economic Association) 2023 conference in New Orleans!

June: My advanced manufacturing paper got into AIEA-NBER conference. My first NBER conference ^^. It has also been presented in the ABFER, Thanks to Professor Po-Hsuan Hsu for great feedback!

May: My advanced manufacturing paper got into CEPR Rising Asia conference. Pitty it's online, wanted to go to Japan again!

April: I will be presenting my advanced manufacturing paper in society for economic measurement conference in August. Never been to Canada, very excited. Also I presented & discussed in FMCG from Monash University. Good that my co-author Will Li also presented our paper on common ownership and we won the run-up for best paper award!
